Intended Use:
K₂ EDTA tubes are used to collect, transport, and process blood for testing plasma or whole blood in the clinical laboratory.
Principle:
EDTA effectively chelates calcium ions in the blood, preventing coagulation. It does not affect leukocyte count or size and helps preserve erythrocyte morphology for accurate analysis.
