Intended Use:
Gel + Clot Activator tubes are used to collect, transport, and process blood for testing serum in the clinical laboratory.
Principle:
The tube is coated with micronized silica particles which rapidly initiate blood clotting. The barrier gel effectively separates serum from fibrin and blood cells, preventing any substance exchange between them and ensuring a high-quality serum sample.
